What’s up, Gamers and Gamettes!
Found out a little something for that might make you both a little sad and a little happy. Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that they will be ending production of all models of PlayStation 4 consoles except for one. They will no longer be making the PS4 Slim or 1TB PS4 Pro, opting to continue production of the standard 500GB PS4. Those productions lines will now be used to produce the PlayStation 5 thus the company will be able to put out more units to meet the high demands. It’s a smart move considering how fast the PS5 sold through online sales of the next-gen console.
“SIE has announced that production has ended on all but 1 model of the PS4. This includes most PS4 Slim & all models of the PS4 Pro. The only one continuing is the standard Jet Black 500GB model"
