Last night, family ties were tested as Miles, Charlie, Aaron and Nora arrive in a town 300 miles outside of Philadelphia crawling with militia who control the bridge. To continue on, they must cross a river. It is not long before they are discovered by a person both Miles and Nora are familiar with. Will Strausser announces that he has Nora’s sister and he will only release her if she gives up Miles and the pendant. Nora seems ready to break as she has not seen her sister in a long time and fears what Strausser will do to her if she refuses. However, Miles devises a plan to rescue Nora’s sister Mia. The plan is successful but Strausser pursues them. They manage to escape capture.
Mia then reveals to Nora that their father, who was presumed dead, is alive and begs her sister to go with her now. Nora refuses, telling Mia that she promised Charlie that she will help save Danny, but that she will join her afterward. Mia warns her sister that going to Philly is suicide. Nevertheless, Nora insists on keeping her promise.
Mirror, Mirror-Giancarlo Esposito, who played the Genie/Magic Mirror on ABC's "Once Upon A Time", portrays Captain Tom Neville in "Revolution".
In Philadelphia, Captain Neville’s son Jason is being tortured for asking a guardsman about Strausser’s mission to recover the pendant from Miles. Monroe gives Neville two choices—send his son on a diplomatic mission that will mostly ensure his death or have him killed immediately for treason. However, Neville digs up dirt on another officer’s son—who is a rebel—and turns the tide in his favor, thus saving Jason.
Back in the town, Mia makes another attempt to convince her sister to leave and join their father. Nora insists on upholding her promise to Charlie. Charlie convinces Nora to go with Mia. Nora leaves with Mia only to discover that her sister is not the person she expected. Mia has been working as an agent for Strausser and hands him the pendant and tells him where to find Miles and the others. Worse still, she lied about finding their father. Nora, her trust in Mia destroyed, heads back toward Miles, Charlie and Aaron. She arrives just in time to save them from Starusser. Strausser leaves with the pendant and, later, hands it to Monroe who hands it to Rachel.
Meanwhile, Tom Neville’s wife tries to convince him to overthrow Monroe.
Elsewhere, Randall, who is an acquaintance of Rachel Matheson, takes Grace, an acquaintance of Ben Matheson, to a situation room where he has been keeping track of the pendants. He assigns her with a mission to recover Ben’s pendant in Philadelphia.
