Here there, J1 fans! Netflix has just dropped the ball that there is a Resident Evil series in the works. After a string of successful films, Capcom’s survival horror series is headed to the small screen. Supernatural co-showrunner Andrew Dabb will oversee the eight-episode project as executive producer with Walking Dead writer Bronwen Hughes directing the first two episodes and also serving as executive producer. The series will be produced through Contantin Films, the same company behind the Resident Evil film franchise.
Netflix enticed fans with a post on Twitter depicting a script and some story hints about “Wesker Kids” and new “Raccoon City.”
