Profile: SnowyWorks

In what year did you start?

SnowyWorks began in 2018 with its first publication, Future Sci-Fi Tales #1 anthology.

How many titles do you publish?

SnowyWorks has published more than 30 books. The books range from one-shot books, anthologies, mini-series, and an ongoing series.

Which is your flagship title?

Caspian Porter would be the flagship title. Caspian Porter has the most issues as it’s an ongoing series as well as the character appearing in a crossover book later this year.

How large is your team?

One person! SnowyWorks is run entirely by its founder, Drew D. Lenhart. I do work with a lot of frequent collaborators (artists and colorists). SnowyWorks is also part of a collaborative group called, Savage Sandbox, which is a group of like-minded creators that help each other creatively.

What’s your company philosophy and/or what sets your company apart from other comic book companies?

I think what sets us apart is giving first-time creators a chance at getting published. SnowyWorks runs an anthology every year (sometimes two) giving new creators a shot at publication.

How did the move to more digital media affect your company?

I can’t say that digital media affected my company other than saying it’s been a good option to offer. I initially released my first books digital only before embracing printed books. Digital books are only a fraction of my sales, but I continue to offer digital options to appeal to as many people as possible.
