"I've been better." ~Meg (portrayed by Rachel Miner)
Castiel attacks and kills Dean in a simulated scenario conducted by Naomi. Dean is looking through the Men of Letters’ belongings while Sam searches for their next case where they learn about a series of murders where the victims’ eyes were burned out and their organs liquefied. While Sam gathers their gear, Dean finds the tissues with Sam’s Blood. The brothers’ search leads to Castiel who saves them from a trio of Crowley’s henchmen. They ask him where he has been. Naomi guides Castiel through a façade of him killing demons in search of the other half of the demon tablet and a parchment that will allow Crowley to decipher the tablet without a prophet. Castiel interrogates the demon in possession of the home owner’s body; however, Naomi orders’ Castiel to kill her before she reveals the truth. Before that, they learn that Crowley has someone who knows where Lucifer’s Crypts are. Castiel takes off without Sam and Dean who arrive at the hotel where they find the room full of dead demons killed by Castiel and Meg (Rachel Miner) who tells them about the Lucifer Crypts and the Angel Tablet.

Cue one talking dog~Sam, Castiel, Meg and Dean search a Lucifer Crypt for the Angel Tablet
Later that night, they arrive at the warehouse where Dean tells Sam about him finding the bloody tissue. Castiel is also tells Sam that he is damaged beyond even his abilities. Sam insists he is fine but is ordered by both Dean and Castiel to stay with Meg. Inside, Dean and Castiel find the Angel Tablet. Naomi orders Castiel to kill Dean and take the tablet. Dean, sensing something is wrong with his angelic friend, pleads with him. Outside, Sam and Meg contend with a group of demons. Crowley arrives to see all his loyal subjects sprawled across the ground. Meanwhile, Castiel beats Dean senseless with him begging Castiel to stop. In heaven, Castiel fights against Naomi’s control. Naomi reveals what she has done to him as punishment for his actions in Heaven. Dean’s words eventually get through to him as he drops the weapon and takes up the tablet which breaks the connection between him and Naomi. He heals Dean and then departs with the tablet. After finding Dean, Sam tells him that they have to leave. Meg, who made a stand against Crowley, is killed as the Winchesters escape.
Following the events, Crowley enters the crypt where he finds Naomi with whom he shares a history with. Apparently, they both jointly want the Angel Tablet. Crowley tries to strike a deal but Naomi leaves one the first few syllables. On their way back to the Men of Letters’ storehouse, Dean tells Sam that he has had enough lying. He wishes for Sam to tell the truth to which Sam agrees. Elsewhere, Castiel is on a bus with the Angel Tablet in hand heading to a destination unknown, away from his enemies and friends.

"Did you miss me?"~ Crowley's back!
This episode goes back to basics by bringing back a few familiar faces. Finally, light has been shed on Naomi and plans. In the start of the episode, she has Castiel kill thousands of Dean copies with the purpose of making him kill his real friend when the time comes. She reveals to him that this is punishment for killing so many of his brethren last season. Her purpose is to use him to acquire the Angel Tablet and force him to kill his friends in the process and anyone else who stand in her way (remember, she forced Castiel to kill Samandriel a few episodes ago). I said she was creepy and I love it when I’m right. Nice to see Meg back in the picture with a new host body after being subsequently absent since Season 6. She still as sly as ever but seems to have a change of heart as she staves off Crowley to allow Sam, Dean and Castiel to escape. This might have had something to do with the heart to heart talk she had with Sam. It was shame to see her go but she has come back before. By the way, kudos to the homage paid to “Family Guy” with Sam and Dean both saying, “Shut up, Meg!” as they made their way to the Angel Tablet crypt. Crowley returning to the show was also a plus as he hasn’t been seen since he had the angel Samandriel captured back in episode 10, “Torn and Frayed”. He’s just one those “lovable” bad guys. What strikes me is the history he and Naomi share. What is their connection? And why did Crowley refer to the loss of the Angel Tablet as losing “their prize”? Apparently there is some sort of arrangement that will eventually come to light.
