There is a new Leprechaun film in the works at Lionsgate Films with horror veterans Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan penning the script. Oren and Miles Koules will produce the film under their Koulest Productions banner. Being behind the legend of the diabolical Leprechaun is not unfamiliar territory for Oren Koules who has produced all ten “Saw” films, so bringing the long running franchise into today is not task for him. With this announcement, we could see the long-awaited return of Warwick Davis to the role. Davis has portrayed the titular character across six films before walking away from the role following the birth of his children. Currently, the details about the new film are being kept under wraps, but we will keep a close watch for any news.
