A New Family Guy video game…hmm?

Activision is working on a Family Guy title based on a fan favorite episode called “Road to the Multiverse.” Basically, Bertram is the proposed antagonist and he wants to take out Stewie by leap frogging through different universes. Stewie and Brian go after Bertram to put a stop to him before he succeeds. I remember the aforementioned episode and how entertaining it was so this game should just as entertaining if it is done correctly. My hopes for this title are so-so given the history animated-TV series-based games have had. The Simpsons arcade game was really successfull, however, the home games released for the game systems of the 90’s didn’t fare well. Games based on other shows such as Tiny Toon Adventures, Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, and current shows like Ben 10, Generator Rex, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars have had their share of ‘ups and downs.’ I’m sort of looking forward to this title as a fan of Family Guy then again, I’m not based on past experiences with a game like this. It’s interesting. It is an interesting concept but I gotta see something before I lean one way or the other. What do you think?
