SPOILERS AHEAD!!

Cisco discovers a tachyon generator in Wells’ wheel chair which he figures out is giving Wells more power. An alarm sounds in the particle accelerator and Cisco, Barry and Joe investigate suspecting Wells is inside. The door is opened and Wells runs out, and Barry chases after him. Peek-a-Boo is released and she takes out Cisco and Joe, and then goes after Caitlin. Iris arrives just in time to rescue her. After putting Peek-a-Boo back in her cell, Joe hears someone calling from under the accelerator. Eddie Thawne is found and then checked out Caitlin before he is sent home. Cisco returns to the accelerator when the alarm sounds again and finds a tube like device powering the accelerator. They have to move the metahumans or risk their deaths. Joe talks with the DA but she refuses. Barry resorts to striking a deal with Leonard Snart which upsets Joe. With no other choice, Barry erases all existence of Snart including his criminal records. Using a semi-truck retro-fitted to contain the metahumans powers, they are transported to an air field to taken by plane to the island where Oliver Queen spent five years. However, the systems installed by Cisco fails and the metahumans are set free. Flash tries to stop them but he is taken out by Weather Wizard and Deathbolt. Snart takes down Deathbolt and reveals that he sabotaged the truck to Barry. Weather Wizard and Rainbow Raider are allowed to leave thanks to Snart. Back at Star Labs, Wells returns just as the particle accelerator activates. Barry confronts Wells with help from Arrow and Firestorm.

It’s another well written episode! Leonard Snart is perfectly portrayed by Wentworth Miller. He truly brings this character out and it shows in this episode. Snart is asked by Barry to help him transport the metahumans to an airport. He quickly comes up with a plan that will benefit him greatly. By having Barry erase his existence, Snart has become a ghost. He can literally commit a crime anywhere and get away with it since he doesn’t exist. Which is why taking over Central City will be easy for him and now he has Mark Mardon aka Weather Wizard, Shawna Baez aka Peek-a-Boo, Kyle Nimbus aka Mist, and Roy Bivolo aka Prism/Rainbow Raider at his side along with his sister Lisa, who is dubbed Golden Glider by Cisco. Also, he will be able to drop Leonard Snart and fully embrace the Cold.

Barry may feel like a heel thinking he could use Snart only to end up being used himself. But there is a bigger issue at hand. Eobrad’s device is ready and he returns to the lab for it. However, Barry is ready for him and has called in Arrow/Oliver Queen and Firestorm/Ronnie Raymond. This fight is short-lived but awesome nonetheless. For a moment, fans may be reminded of the first 10 minutes of the animated “Flashpoint Paradox” movie in which Flash calls the Justice League to deal with Zoom. My only gripe with this is that Oliver was revealed to have been restored to his old self following Ra’s Al Ghul’s manipulation. This would’ve been more appropriate to have been shown after the season finale of Arrow. Hopefully, a time frame will be set up to help close the gap.
