No lie, it has been a minute since I was happy for a revival of an older franchise. The teaser trailer for The Naked Gun was humorous. This new trailer is just downright funny it succeeds in capturing the charm and sight gags of the previous trilogy that starred Leslie Neilson. It may be early but I gotta say that Liam Neeson could be worthy of carrying the torch.
Description: Only one man has the particular set of skills… to lead Police Squad and save the world! Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his father’s footsteps in THE NAKED GUN, directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and from producer Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy). Joining the case are cast Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, with Danny Huston.
Justice has a new daddy! The Naked Gun rolls into theaters August 1!
