Liam Neeson plays Frank in The Naked Gun from Paramount Pictures.
Well, this was unexpected, J1sters. I lowkey recall that a new Naked Gun movie was in the works, but I shoved it to the back of my brain and nearly forgot about it until I saw that the teaser trailer has dropped. After watching, I have to say that we are in need of a comedy spoof right now and Liam Neeson is the guy to bring it to us. Qui Gon Gin himself portrays Frank Drebin Jr., son of Leslie Neilson’s character from the original trilogy. The film is directed by Akiva Shaffer and produced by Seth McFarlane (creator of Family Guy, American Dad). It also stars Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Liza Koshy, Cody Rhodes, CCH Pounder, and Busta Rhymes.
Get ready to laugh when The Naked Gun hits theaters August 1, 2025!
It should be noted that Seth McFarlane and Liam Neeson have worked together in another comedy spoof, 2014’s “A Million Way to Die in the West.”
