1) On what project are you currently working?
A romantic comedy series called “Love Is Sketchy” that’s a love story between a comic book artist and a cosplayer.
2) Whom in your field do you admire most and why?
Ashley A. Woods because she went from self-published author to working in Hollywood as a storyboard artist on “Lovecraft Country.”
3) How did you get into the comic book field?
I started in 2010 when I first published my comic Vigilance, which was a Black superhero comic that I ended because there were too many other heroes with the same name. With my next book I went to the genre I love in anime, giant robots, so in 2014 I published “Trojanzer High” and then I learned how to navigate comic conventions.
4) On which title would you most like to work and why?
GoBots because I love giant robots and Transformers and also I think the GoBots comic needs better artwork. Then I’d jump to Transformers.
5) On what project will you be working next?
My next project is “Trojanzer High: Wrath of the Dragon” which takes place one year after “Homecoming Hero” and introduces Trojanzer’s brother, Draganzer, and a new pilot and more interesting characters. Also an anthropomorphic cyberpunk ninja series called “Curse of Nogitsune” which features a fox ninja who is destined to die and how her family secret can change her future.
