Harukana Receive is a sports manga that follows the world of beach volleyball, written and illustrated by Nyoijizai. The story follows high schooler Haruka Ozura who moves to Okinawa from Tokyo to live with her cousin Hinata Higa. Haruka has a love for sports and had a great fondness for volley ball, however she isn’t very good at it. Her cousin Hinata used to play but quit the sport due to her short stature. Haruka is more outgoing while Hinata is on the shy side. Despite their different personalities, they form an pair for beach volleyball.
Kana Yuuki will voice Haruka Ozura. She portrays Noelle Silva in “Black Cover.” Saki Miyashita, who auditioned and won the 6th Sigma Seven, will play Kanata Higa. The TV anime adaption will be directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka, best known for characters designs for the Idolm@ster series. Touko Machida (Lucky Star, Wake Up, Girls!) will serve as composition writer for the series with character designer/chief animation director Takeshi Oda rounding out the group. C2C will handle anime production. As of now, no date has been set for release.
