I didn't know....
You MUST WATCH this hilarious mockumentary on one of Star Wars’ most famous droids R2-D2!! You won’t regret it! So ridiculous! The things you learn about where he came from and how he was raised…
Part 1- A small town in England is a long way from the glitter, lights and fame of Hollywood, but that never stopped a young astromech from dreaming. With visions of movie stardom in his eye, Artoo left a family ruled by an emotionally distant father for the promised adventures of California.
Part 2- The success of the Star Wars films rocketed Artoo-Detoo to heights far beyond those attainable by his often-conveniently-forgotten-about booster rockets. The little droid became a household name, only to be caged by his fame.
Part 3- Rescued from the depths of obscurity, Artoo-Detoo’s career was resuscitated by George Lucas’ return to the Star Wars saga with Episode I. But rising so quickly can lead to the bends — as the cast and crew of Episodes I and II discovered.
