After what seemed like several warp zones ago, Universal Studios and Illumination along with Nintendo have finally dropped the first official trailer to “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” the follow-up to 2023’s hugely successful “The Super Mario Bros Movie.” For this film, Mario and Luigi join Princess Peach and Toad as they travel to the stars to help Princess Rosalina and stop Bowser Jr. from rescuing his father, Bowser.
The film sees directors Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic with writer Matthew Fogel back at the helm, and the returning cast of Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key and Kevin Micheal Richardson reprising their roles from the first film. Benny Safdie and Brie Larson join the cast as Bowser Jr. and Rosalina, respectively.
Take to the stars with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie on April 3, 2026!
