“Men in Black” reboot in the works, Liam Neeson cast for lead role!!

Actor Liam Neeson has taken on several action roles in his career. He is known for the “Taken” movie franchise and has played Qui-Gon Jinn in “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.” Now Liam is set to wear the last suit he’ll ever wear as he is in talks about playing the head of the U.K. branch of the “Men In Black.”

The reboot is being director F. Gary Gray, who was behind the “Fate of the Furious” and “Iron Man” screenwriters Matt Holloway and Art Marcum will pen the script. Steven Speilberg returns as executive producer and he’s bringing original producers Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald with him. The new film will be more straight-laced than the buddy cop series set by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. “Thor: Ragnorok” actors Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are reunited for undisclosed roles in the film.

The Men in Black return to protect Earth from the scum of the universe on May 17, 2019.
