The live action adaption of Tite Kubo’s supernatural manga Bleach is less than two months away from hitting Japanese theatres. The official blog for the film revealed five more cast members who will be joining the main cast.
Starting clockwise from the top, we have:
Masami Nagasawa as Masaki Kurosaki, Ichigo’s mother who was killed by the Hollow, Grand Fisher; Yosuke Eguchi as Isshin Kurosaki, Ichigo’s father and former captain of Squad 10, and Seiichi Tanabe as Kisuke Urahara, a strangely-dressed man who helps support the Shinigami against the Hollows who was once head of Research and development department of Squad 12.
Japanese singer Erina Mano will portray Ichigo’s classmate and love interest, Orihime Inoue.
Former ONE OK ROCK drummer Yu Koyanagi will portray Yasutora Sado, Ichigo’s strong willed classmate.
The Bleach live action movie, directed by Shinsuke Satō (live-action Gantz, Gantz II: Perfect Answer films, Oblivion Island anime film), will open in Japan on July 20.
