Well, there’s good news and not so good news. The good news is Koji Igarashi has given a release date for his Kickstarter funded game, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (my opinion). The game is planned for 2019. In an update on the Kickstarter site, Igarashi says the game is being delayed so improvements can be made to ensure a better quality title. However, due to Sony ending production of the PlayStation Vita, Bloodstained will not be released for that system. Focus will be shifted to work on the other versions.
We have an update on the release window for Ritual of the Night as well as well as a Vita announcement on our Kickstarter page. https://t.co/pafXn0pwKn
