When we last left the Arrow/Flash spin-off, Rip Hunter and his team were captured by the Time Masters but they eventually escape and make their way to the Oculus. Leonard Snart sacrifices himself in the Oculus’ destruction to keep Mick from taking Palmer’s predestined death, taking Druce out with him. Rip and the team succeed in killing Vandal Savage in different periods of time. After all is said and done, they are greeted by Rex Tyler who says he from the Justice Society of America. And now we come to Legends second season where we will get to learn more about the JSA and their fight against the Legion of Doom. This is not going to be like the Superfriends. This will be way better. The Society will consist of Vixen, Commander Steel, Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-Nite. Megalyn Echikunwoke, who portrayed Vixen in other Arrowverse series, could not reprise the role due to other commitments. Instead, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, who plays Rebekah Mikaelson/Eva Sinclair in the CW series The Originals, will fill the role. As for the Legion of Doom, this version will consist of the Reverse-Flash, Malcolm Merlyn, Damien Darhk, and Captain Cold. Yup, for reasons yet to be explained, Leonard Snart is back! But I firmly believe that Barry Allen may have something to do with this.
