These anime will be remastered in HD and release on their respective YouTube channels for a limited time. Funimation’s uploads will be available in the USA, Canada, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, India, Philippines, Singapore while Gonzo’s uploads will be available outside Japan in select regions without subtitles. Ragnarok the Animation
Based on the MMORPG Ragnarok Online, Raganrok the Animation is a Japanese-Korean anime series that aired in 2004. The story happens in the same world of Rune-Midgard. An evil entity called the Dark Lord wants to create chaos in the world with the help of seven crystals that represent the seven ambitions (also known as the Seven Strengths) who sealed him away years ago.
Burst Angel takes place in the near future, after a rise in criminal activity forced the Japanese government to allow citizens to possess firearms and establish the Recently Armed Police of Tokyo (RAPT). The series follows a band of four mercenaries, named Jo, Meg, Sei, and Amy. It aired from April 2004 to September 2004 for 24 episodes.
Masane Amaha exists on society’s fringe, with no memory and no direction. Upon her arrival back in Tokyo, her fate is altered forever when she unites with the Witchblade—an ancient weapon of ecstasy, power, and pain that penetrates the body and soul. Conscripted into the service of the Doji Group and hunted down by the NSWF, Masane’s greatest battle will be for her very soul. It is loosely based on the American comic of the same name and aired April 2006 to September 2006 for 24 episodes.
