Our favorite undead sorcerer Ainz Ooal Gown will be hitting the big screen in the anime movie, OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom. Crunchyroll has acquired the rights to release the film in North America and internationally in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Release date for the film will be announced at a later time.
OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom picks up after the conclusion of the fourth season of the anime. Noayuki Ito is back at the helm as director with Satoshi Tasaki as character designer and chief animation director and Shuji Katayama as composer. Madhouse is producing the film.
