Look J1sters, Marvel and Disney have been dangling this next Avengers film in front of us for quite some time with these teasers. Some of these we already knew such as Chris Evans’ Steve Roger returning to fight for freedom once again, Chris Hemsworth taking up Mjornir as The Mightiest Avenger and comic book fans finally getting the X-Men crossover they have been waiting for. (Thank you Deadpool and Wolverine) Steve Rogers and Thor now have daddy duties as they fight for their children. In the X-Men trailer, Charles Xavier seems to be caring for an ailing Magneto while elsewhere James Marsden returns as Cyclops and unleashes his full powered Optic Blast while finally doing his comic accurate suit after 20+ years. The latest trailer sees the Wakandans, led by M’Baku, meeting up with Fantastic Four’s Benjamin Grimm aka Thing.
With the cast reveal now nearly a couple of years old, it can be speculated that the film will be no less than three hours, with a possible runtime of three and a half hours. This story is going to be huge, and it will be interesting how these characters come about and interact with each other. Doctor Strange is the likely candidate due to the events of “Multiverse of Madness” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home” with bringing these characters. But let’s not forget that Deadpool has access to the TVA which gives the ability to travel between worlds and he has traveled to the Sacred Timeline (The current MCU) wanting to join to Avengers. However, while Benedict Cumberbatch is toted to return as Doctor Strange, there is no word on whether Ryan Renyolds will return as Deadpool. Nonetheless, the hype for this film is going to cook slowly over the course of the year until Doomsday. And we are hungry.
