Once a month on a Wednesday (obviously), we feature an film that falls in the realm of anime (Japanese animation) at Amalgam Comics and Coffeehouse, located at 2578 Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia! There we discuss the film, the history of said film, or the process behind the making of it. At times we do giveaways or show some behind the scenes information on Black Tribbles or J1 Studios. We also try to show stuff that has been discontinued or difficult to find. Once in a while we have shown films that don’t fall under the category of anime, by either showing an western animated movie that may have some connections to anime in some way, or a live action version of a Japanese animation.
