MiHoYo, the creator of the popular open world RPG title Genshin Impact, announced that they have a new action RPG mobile game in the works. Zenless Zone Zero takes place in the post-apocalyptic city of New Eridu where the remnants of humanity reside following a supernatural disaster called the “Hollows.” Players assume the role of a “Proxy” and fight creatures called “Ethereals.” Proxies are special professionals who help guide people who explore the Hollows in order to extract resources.

It is billed as an “urban fantasy” and the game itself features action-oriented gameplay and quick-time events. Though there is no release set, Zenless Zone Zero will be launched for PC and smartphones, with additional platforms coming later.
