It has finally happened! The anime streaming giants are now together under one roof. No doubt anime fans are pleased that the two companies are finally going to working in junction with each other. Funimation and Crunchyroll had a partnership in 2016 that lasted until October 2018 when Funimation was acquired by Sony Pictures Entertainment and AT&T acquired Crunchyroll. With the acquisition now complete, Sony stated that they want to create an unified anime subscription experience using their existing anime businesses as soon as possible.
