Shock rocker Rob Zombie revealed that his next movie project will be a reboot of the classic 1960s TV series The Munsters. He made the announcement on his Instagram page.
Rob Zombie has been chasing after the project for years and was more than happy to reveal that it has come true. Rightfully so, his song “Dragula” featured on the album Hellbilly Deluxe is inspired by the “drag race” episode of The Munsters.
The Munsters film will feature Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster and Sherri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster. The cast is said to also include Dan Roebuck, Jorge Garcia, Richard Brake, and Cassandra Peterson (Elvira: Mistress of the Dark). It is intended to be a Peacock exclusive film. The Munsters TV series is currently streaming on Peacock.
