1) On what project are you currently working?
I’m currently working on a comic strip called, “Tyrone the Terrible.” It’s a story of a young eight-year-old boy growing up in a single family home. And yes, he gets into trouble a lot.
2) Whom in your field do you admire most and why?
There’s two that I admire. Sadly, both have passed and will be missed. One is Charles Schulz. Peanuts was the first comic I learned to draw by hand when I was back in grade school. He taught me how… ‘Life itself can be funny.’ And Stan Lee. The man created his own universe.
3) How did you get into the comic book field?
I always loved to write and draw. It was the best way to get my vision of my stories out there. I did stop drawing for a while and started focusing on writing, but now I’m back at it.
4) On which title would you most like to work and why?
I would love to write on “The Punisher,” if I had to pick just one. I love that he has no superpowers, but gets the job done his way.
5) On what project will you be working next?
Next, I’ll be working on a spin-off of one of my “Wind & Fire” creations, called “The Master Wane Chronicles.” It sets place in 16th century Japan.
