With E3 2018 just over a week away, development companies and consumers alike are gearing up for the greatest event in gaming, and some developers want to jump the gun to get fans ready. For a decade, Ubisoft has been known for its annual releases of its flagship series, Assassin’s Creed. The series is one of the most popular game series on the market and after the success of the last installment, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ubisoft is ready to take on another adventure with the Assassins. The next installment will be Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The account for Assassins Creed posted a short video on their Twitter account with a message that reads, “See you at E3!”

This surprise reveal comes after an image was leaked on a French website showing a keychain with the logo and game title. The keychain itself resembles the helmet of King Leonidas, ruler of the Spartans. The same depiction is shown in the game’s title card above. So, from the look of things, we could be heading to ancient Greece. We’ll get more on the load down of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at the Ubisoft panel at E3 2018 on June 11.
