The Senran Kagura series has been known for its sexual innuendos and themes while at the same time for its face paced combat and intense action. However, things will be changing slightly for the latest release in the series. XSEED has been asked by Sony to remove the “intimacy mode” from the PlayStation 4 version of the title. XSEED complied and has delayed the game’s release until further notice, posting the situation on Twitter to ease the worries of fans of the busty ninja babes.

The “Intimacy Mode” will still be available on PC versions of Senran Kagura Burst RE: Newal but that is getting hit with the delay as well. Tom Lipschultz, localization producer at XSEED, added his own comments and replied to another Twitter user to say that this is a “brand new policy” and that the interactivity of the mode appears to be the issue.

I don't like intimacy mode in SK. But I've always stood up for it, because…well, this. This is how it starts, my friends.
