After the release of the teaser trailer for Paramount Pictures’ Sonic the Hedgehog movie, fans of the iconic character erupted in a massive firestorm of criticism, condemning the character’s design in the live action / CGI hybrid movie based on Sega’s beloved mascot. Director Jeff Fowler responds to the outcries and vows to change Sonic’s design. He posted his promise of Twitter on Thursday.
Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast

Updating Sonic’s design in time for the scheduled November 8 release would be nothing short of a god-like miracle given that Sonic is the central focus of this film.
