Predictions for Tomorrow’s Nintendo E3 Coverage

Today was an awesome day of nonstop announcements from Microsoft, Sony and more. Games on games on games. Just read today’s wall of posts!

Tomorrow at 9am PT, (12:00pm Eastern), Nintendo will be doing a digital live stream event. You should be able to watch it here: http://e3.nintendo.com/#2014/

Personally, growing up with an N64, Gamecube and Wii, I’m more than excited to know what upcoming titles will be discussed. Here’s what we’re guessing we’ll see.

Hyrule Warriors. They gave us a nice looking teaser trailer back in December of 2013, and we’re still psyched about it! it’s about time they give us some more details. Here’s the original trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOq4IiuRMWk

A New Metroid Game. Metroid Other M came out in 2010. I never got the chance to check it out, but four years later I’m sure there are plenty of Nintendo fans who hope to see a new adventure for Samus on the horizon.

STAH FAHKS (in the voice of Falco). When I need a quick fix of quality gaming, I go to my N64, turn it on, and Starfox 64 loads up right away. I beat the first level, fail to make the meteo warp, and turn off the system. That’s plenty satisfying for me. If they’d make a next gen starfox 64 style game, It would be such a tremendous hit. Maybe they’re saving it for a rainy day down the road, or maybe they’ll reveal it tomorrow. We can only hope!

Super Smash Bros. Tomorrow calls for sunshine and a possible chance of new Super Smash Bros characters. There were 35 playable characters in Brawl. 30 characters have been announced for the new game. Missing from the roster is Jigglypuff, Mr. Game and Watch, Metaknight and R.O.B.. Now it wouldn’t surprise me if R.O.B. was getting the boot, and I don’t know too many players who are hardcore about Game and Watch, but i’ll be questioning the good of mankind if Jigglypuff is left out of the next installment. He’s a good character with a unique fighting system, and generally just fun to play as. Whoever it is that we have yet to see, I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a glimpse of them tomorrow during E3.
