Just when it seemed like people were ready to say Pokémon GO “away”, the mobile game makes an impressive comeback. According to the market research firm Superdata, Pokémon GO earned more than $100 million in May, putting it way above its numbers for the month. Pokémon GO ranked fourth among the highest grossing mobile games, placing it three spots behind games made in China. The game is gaining ground in the app store as well, ranking in at #13, beating out Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and even Candy Crush Saga. Pokémon GO certainly has made a strong recovery that would impress Professor Oak and it will only continue to evolve when players will be able to import Pokémon from “Pokémon: Let’s GO, Pikachu” and “Pokémon: Let’s GO, Eevee” when those titles release for the Nintendo Switch in the Fall. Call Nurse Joy because Pokémon fever is back!
