As you can see by the title graphic for the new season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., there is a new player in the game!! The Spirit of Vengeance, Ghost Rider, is blazing into town! After the disaster piece theatre that was “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance”, ABC and Joss Whedon look to redeem him by adding Ghost Rider as a new and exciting dynamic for the series. For this season, expect to see less tie-ins with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and more focus on the Secret Warriors as well as other comic series. When we last saw them, the team has been divided and now Coulson and the remainder of his team are hunting down Daisy Johnson who has apparently gone rogue. Daisy is clearly having a tough time dealing with Lincoln’s death and has adopted a darker image to show her sorrow. Marvel fans will be glad to know that the series is introducing Life Model Decoys with subtle hints to Ultron and Vision, and they delve into Squadron Supreme comic series. The bar has been raised!
