Saban Brands and Nickelodeon have sealed the deal to keep working together through to 2021. Saban currently runs “Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel”, the 25th entry in the series and second season sequel to “Power Rangers Ninja Steel”, on Nickelodeon. The season premiered January 27. A “Power Rangers” film was released last year in North America and has grossed over $84 million domestically and $140 million worldwide. The film’s director Dean Israelite has reported last year that Lionsgate and Saban are thinking about a follow up.
