NEW trailer for Tomb Raider 2018 film!!

What’s up J1 fans! This is D13 coming at ya and you’re “On the Next Level” where I cover anything in gaming news. Now, what we have is a look at the trailer for the upcoming “Tomb Raider” movie from Warner Bros. The film is based on the first game by Crystal Dynamics, which tells of Lara Croft’s first expedition, and will serve to reboot the Tomb Raider movie franchise. In the movie, Lara continues her father’s research and embarks to the Devil’s Island in search of ancient secrets. Tomb Raider stars Alicia Vikander (Jason Bourne, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) as Lara Croft, Daniel Wu (Into the Badlands) as Lara’s ship captain Lu Ren, and Hannah John-Kamen (Firefly, Game of Thrones) as Lara’s best friend Sophie.

Tomb Raider is distributed and produced by Warner Bros, with MGM and GK Films. Norwegian director Roar Uthaug is headlining the film. Dutch composer Junkie XL will be behind the film’s music. Junkie XL has worked on two previous Warner Bros movies, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”, and the theme for “Wonder Woman”, both of which he collaborated with renowned composer Hans Zimmer. He has also provided music for Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool” movie. Tomb Raider hits theatres March 16, 2018.

Actress Angelina Jolie portrayed Lara Croft in Paramount Pictures’ “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” in 2001 and the 2003 sequel “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – Cradle of Life.”
