NEW live film based on “Blood-C” due for release this Fall!!

Confirmed today, the second live action film based on the “Blood-C” anime series created by Production I.G and Nanase Ohkawa (CLAMP), is green-lighted for release this Fall. Titled “Blood-Club Dolls”, the film will be directed by Shutaro Oku, who previously worked on the “Blood-C The Last Mind” stage play in July 2015. Kanon Miyahara returns to portray Saya Kisaragi, a role she played in the previous film, “Blood-C The Last Mind”. Ryunosuke Matsumura (Nine in the Terror in Resonance stage play) will also be returning. Anison singer Maon Kurosaki will be making her acting debut in the film. Junichi Fujisaki, director of the TV anime “Blood+”, has a newly-written script for Blood-Club Dolls. Details of the script are currently unknown, but the storyline is said to have “new developments.”
