My Hero Academia returns for another session in October!!

The mighty heroes in training are back for another semester! The English Twitter account for My Hero Academia announced that the anime will return for a fourth season in October on Funimation. The third season anime premiered in April 2018 for a 26-episode run. Funimation is streaming the English dub of the series while Crunchyroll and Hulu streamed the episodes fresh from Japan.

The third season was produced by Studio Bones and featured the same staff including director Kenji Nagasaki, scriptwriter Yousuke Kuroda, character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi and composer Yuki Hayashi. My Hero Academia’s first season aired in Japan from April 3 to June 26, 2016, followed by a second season from April 1 to September 30, 2017. The anime movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, opened last August. A second film is planned for this winter.

The video game, My Hero One’s Justice, was released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on October 26, 2018. Izuku Midoriya is a playable character in the crossover game Jump Force. The mighty hero All-Might was released as DLC for Jump Force
