Mob Psycho 100 manga draws to a close!!

This Friday will mark the end of One Punch Man creator ONE’s Mob Psycho 100. The webmanga series will makes its final run on Shogakukan’s mobile app MangaONE. Mob Psycho 100 originally launched in 2012 on the MangaONE app, and currently has 15 volumes. It spawned a 2016 anime series directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa (Death Parade) and written by Hiroshi Seko (Seraph of the End, Ajin). Sadly, the manga has yet to reach the west but the anime is a definite must see.

For those of you who don’t know, Mob Psycho 100 is about a young boy named Shigeo Kageyama, also known as “Mob”, who has psychic abilities. He keeps his emotions in check and suppresses his abilities in order to live a normal life, fearful of his powers that grow as he gets older. Should Mob’s emotions reach 100 %, he unleashes the full extent of his powers which can be devastating. But a barrage of trouble keeps coming after him. With the suppressed emotions growing inside Mob little by little, his power threatens to break through its limits.
