Apparently, someone decided to lsten this time. Paramount Pictures has put a hold on the Ninja Turtles reboot, placing its release date in May 2014 instead of pre-planned date of December 2013, citing issues with the script. Fans reacted strongly when Bay revealed that the Turtles will, in fact, be extraterrestials, not mutated shelled amphibians like we, the fans, remember them as. This announcement was met with a severe backlash; however, it has not been confirmed or denied whether the project was halted for this reason.

Jim Carrey backs out on “Dumb and Dumber 2.” The comic and WB/New Line have run into some bad blood which, unfortunately, led to Carrey’s departure from the sequel. It’s a shame too. After that turd of a prequel, “When Harry met Lloyd”, it would’ve been a welcome sight to the original crew back together. Hope this gets straightened out soon before “Hangover 3”.
