“Jashin-Chan Doroppukikku” manga is getting an anime adaption!!

So while searching for new anime to watch I came across this little beauty. Jashin-Chan Doroppukikku/Dropkick on my Devil is a comedy manga that began serialization in Flex Comix’s Comic Meteor web magazine in April 2012, written and illustrated by Yukiwo. The story centers of college student Yurine Hanazono who summons Jashin-chan from the demon world. Unfortunately, Yurine has no idea how to send her back so they have no choice but to live together. But Jashin-chan knows that only way to get back to her world is to kill Yurine.

The website for Dropkick on my Devil released a visual featuring the six main characters along with the announcement date for the premiere of the anime adaption by Nomad Animation Studio, known for doing the “Rozen Maiden” anime series. The anime will premiere July 9 on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS Fuji, and will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. Actress Aina Suzuki, who plays Jashin-chan, will perform the opening theme “Ano Ko ni Dropkick (Dropkick to the Girl)” along with her co stars Nichika Omori, Miyu Kubota, Yurie Kozakai, Chiaki Omigawa, Rico Sasaki, and Riho Iida as their respective characters Yurine Hanazono, Medusa, Pekora, Minos, Poporon, and Persephone II.
