The official website for Uchi no Ko no tame naraba, ore wa moshikashitara Mao mo Taoseru kamoshirenai (If it’s for my Daughter, I’d even defeat the Demon Lord) light novel series revealed on Friday that the anime adaption of CHIROLU’s adventure series will premiere July 4 on Tokyo TV and BS11. It was also announced that Nobuhiko Okamoto will perform the ending theme song “This is Yūsha, but Zannen!?” as his character Dale.
In Another World with my Smartphone director Takeyuki Yanase will helm the project with Takao Yoshioka (WATAMOTE, High School DXD) handling script writing duties. The animation and character designs are created by Mikyako Nishida, Toshide Masudate and Kaho Deguchi. Manga adaptation artist Hota is credited for design cooperation.
The series is being released digitally in English by J-Novel Club who describes the story as:
Dale is a cool, composed and highly skilled adventurer who’s made quite a name for himself despite his youth. One day ona job deep in the forest, he comes across a little devil girl who’s almost wasted away. Unable to leave her to die, Dale takes her home and becomes her adoptive father. Why was she out in the forest to begin with, and why does she carry the mark of a criminal?
