Godzilla (2014) Official Trailer… They’re getting SERIOUS!

OMG Godzilla!!!

“An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence” — Legendary Pictures.

This is the 60th anniversary of Toho’s 1954 Godzilla, so this reboot makes sense. It’s not a reboot of a movie released three years ago. With that British director Gareth Edwards has taken the helm. The film is a co-production of Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures worldwide, except for Japan where it will be distributed by Toho. Don’t worry this one is not going to be the ridiculous Jurassic Park wannabe nonsense that was the Godzilla 1998 American film starring Matthew Broderick. The crew behind this are ACTUAL Godzilla fans and want to do what the 1998 didn’t do.

Theatrical release: May 16, 2014

Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).
