Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown trailer – premieres in Japan on February 1

The official website for Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown has begun streaming a new trailer for the upcoming anime movie that is set to premiere in theaters in Japan on February 1, 2020. Goblin’s Crown picks up after the Goblin Slayer TV anime which shows Goblin Slayer, Priestess, High Elf Archer, Dwarf Shaman and Lizard Priest off on another adventure in unknown territory.

Goblin Slayer is a Japanese dark fantasy light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. A manga adaptation by Kōsuke Kurose is serialized in the Monthly Big Gangan magazine, and a second adaptation by Masahiro Ikeno runs in the same magazine. An anime television series adaptation by White Fox premiered from October 7 to December 30, 2018. The anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

Plot: In a world of fantasy, adventurers come far and wide to join the Guild, in order to complete contracts for whatever jobs are available. An inexperienced priestess joins her first adventuring party, but comes into danger after her first adventurer contract involving goblins goes wrong. After the rest of her party is wiped out, she is saved by a man known as Goblin Slayer, an adventurer whose only purpose is the eradication of goblins with extreme prejudice.
