There was concern about the future of Dragon Ball Super following the untimely death of long time voice actress Hiromi Tsuru, who portrayed Bulma since the original Dragon Ball series. Well, we can rest easy. On February 14, Toei Animation confirmed that actress Aya Hisakawa will assume the role Vegeta’s beloved wife. Hisakawa is known for her roles as Cerberus from “Cardcaptor Sakura and Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card”, Kazuki from “Pokémon”, Pricilla in “Claymore”, Nina Rowell in “Devil May Cry: The Animated Series” and Ami Mizuno aka Sailor Mercury in “Sailor Moon.”
Aya Hisakawa voiced Bulma in a new collaboration anime CM between Dragon Ball Z and Tokyo-based chemical and cosmetics company Kao to advertise the latter’s detergent products for bath and toilet.
