Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles releases in Japan on October 14!!

CyberConnect announced today that the fighting game based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba finally has a release date. Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles will release in Japan on October 14. The official Twitter account for the game has posted a visual that will be used for the box art.

The PS4 and PS5 versions of the game are available for pre-order inside Japan, with three other versions. The base version will be available both physically and digitally while the limited edition physical version will include a statue featuring Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu that holds smart phones and the deluxe digital version will come with early costumes, themes for your system and more.

While the Japanese will be released on October 14, Sega will be publishing Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles outside of Japan with intent for release sometime in 2021.
