Why do you cosplay?
I cosplay because I love to able to dress up as certain characters from things I like.
What was your first cosplay?
Final Fantasy X-2 Yuna.
Do you make your own cosplay costumes, if so, which ones, and how long does an average costume take to make?
Who is your favorite character to cosplay?
FFX-2 Yuna, forever and always.
Amongst animation, comics, movies, or video games, what is your biggest inspiration for cosplay?
Video games. Most definitely video games.
Have you ever made any mistakes that you’d warn a first timer about?
Hot glue generally isn’t the best thing to make certain things stay where they need to stay.. I’m still learning this.. Oh and make sure if you plan to travel to conventions make sure you have everything planned out (ie. cost of travel, food, hotels, change of clothing, ID’s, shampoo, etc.)
Are there certain characters that are easier to cosplay as than others?
Oh hell yeah. Misty is generally a pretty laidback costume people like to wear since it’s really easy to make and is casual and comfortable. Then you have something with goat feet like Soraka from LoL where you have to stand on your toes for long periods of time. Some cosplays are more comfortable then others, easier to wear, easier to take off, don’t have huge ass props to lug around all day, and yeah. So yes, there are most definitely certain characters that are easier to cosplay.
