Attack on Titan Season 3 will air on Toonami in August!!

We are just a few days away from the return of one of the most anticipated seasons in anime and the excitement can rival the titans themselves. Adult Swim’s Toonami block announced on Facebook that they will begin streaming the third season of Attack on Titan beginning August 18. Funimation acquired the publication rights to the series and premiered the English dub version at Anime Expo 2018 in Los Angeles and in movie theaters across the U.S. and Canada for a limited engagement. The new season will premiere in Japan on July 22 at 24:35 (effectively July 23 at 12:45 a.m.) on NHK (the show will air at 25:15 in the Kansai region). Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs with subtitles and Funimation will simulcast in English dub.

This new season of Attack on Titan follows the Survey Corps as they are now branded a threat to the established government within the walls and pursued by the deadly Kenny the Ripper, Captain Levi’s maternal uncle.
