She can hear what sounds like water dipping methodically. She can scarcely recall how much time has passed since she had been brought to this strange place. Slowly, Aerith opens her eyes which are heavy from lack of sleep. Looking around, she finds herself in a lavish room. Beautifully woven drapes decorate the large window. The furniture situated about the room is brilliantly crafted. As for the room itself, it is a far cry from the nightmarish dungeon she was in previously. The dungeon. Aerith rests her head in her hand. Yes, that is where she heard the dripping water. Except this water was blood. Her mind flickers back to the torture room, to the withered bodies lining the walls like animal trophies, to her friend Larissa. She can still see Larissa’s lush and supple body degrade into a withered husk as her life force is drained by the angelic woman flanked by winged demons. Aerith lifts her head and looks around the room. She is alone. There are no guards. There is no sign of the winged demons. This could be another chance for her to escape and warn her village about this place and the woman who occupies it. Sadly, she does not know where she is, let alone how to get back home. Leaving will not be an option considering how she was mysteriously sent back to the torture room on her last attempt. Aerith then begins to wonder what the woman has in store for her. What did she need from her? Why is she not also a lifeless husk? The questions ran through her mind. The uncoupling in the lock to the door breaks her train of thought.
The beautiful woman enters the room. Her veil like clothes flow behind her as if they were licking a gentle breeze even though there is none. She looked like a goddess, graceful and elegant. Her beauty is so striking that she could halt a marching war battalion with just a glance. Aerith finds herself unable to break from her gaze. Her eyes are that of a moonlit lake. The woman stops just at the foot of the large bed Aerith is on. One of the winged creatures crept up from behind the woman. She gently pets it on the head and it responds in kind with a content growl. She had absolute command over them. With a silent command, the winged creature stayed put while the woman approached Aerith and sits close to her. She even more stunning close up. Aerith took in her porcelain skin, curvaceous body, ample bust and shimmering silver hair that flowed behind her like silk.
“So how are the accommodations?” she asked.
By His Grace, her voice is angelic, Aerith thought. At a loss for words, she falls deep into the woman’s dark blue eyes. She cannot forget that this woman is a demon in angel’s clothing. She cannot forget what happened to Larissa. Yet, gazing at the woman, this memory seems to be fading away. “They…they’re fine,” she answers her.
“Far better than the dungeon, I presume,” the woman says as she gently slides closer to Aerith.
“Y-Yes,” Aerith said, feeling a sense of unease.
The woman is very coy. “That’s good.” Once she is close, she reaches out and caresses Aerith’s cheek. “I’m glad you like it,” she says, gently brushing back a strand of hair. Aerith tries to resist the woman’s advances but she cannot. There is something about the woman that draws her in. The woman carefully examines Aerith, starting with her face, then visually tracing her body before ending with a deep look into her emerald green eyes. The woman cups Aerith’s face. She gazes into her eyes. And then kisses her deeply. The action surprises, startles and shocks Aerith. Before she knew it, she can feel the gorgeous woman’s tongue near the back of her throat. Her mind tells her to push away but her body does otherwise. She reciprocates, places a hand behind the woman’s head and pulls her closer with the other by her waist. The woman breaks away and gazes at Aerith. “Do you want more?” she asks.
Aerith stares back lovingly. What is happening, she wondered. Why is she beginning to feel close to the woman who murdered her friend right before her eyes? Who is this strange and beautiful woman? In that one passionate kiss, all of her misgivings about the woman and the situation seem to have vanished, replaced with a feeling of pleasure and comfort. Does she want more, of what exactly? This pleasure she is feeling? Her mind says no but the word from his lips say, “Yes.”
The woman sneered ever so slightly and snaps her fingers. The door opens again and a new person enters. Aerith watches the cloaked person seemingly glide to the bed and stop. The person raises their hands to the hood and flip it back, resulting in the cloak falling to the ground. Aerith’s eyes shoot wide in disbelief. She watches the dirty blonde hair fall into place across her shoulders. She looks into the violet eyes gazing back at her. The girl wore a similar outfit to the woman but it is blue in color. Aerith is taken aback. The last time she saw her, it was as a lifeless husk. But now she stands before her even more beautiful and radiant than ever.
“Larissa?” she said, nearly choking on her friend’s name.
Larissa smiles lovingly. “Aerith, you look just as beautiful as ever.”
“I-I don’t know understand. How are you…? How could you be…?” Confusion ran through Aerith’s mind as she tries to fathom her friend apparent death and resurrection. Part of her hoped this is some terrible dream. Part of her renounces this. She begins to question what happened back in the dungeon room. Did she witness what she saw? Was she and Larissa captured and placed in a room of horrors decorated with corpses? Are they even alive? Dead, perhaps? Perhaps this is all a misconception and she is back in Tulpaar fast asleep in her bed. Sadly, this is all true. She begins to realize. She and Larissa have been captured and placed in an unknown manor with an unknown woman. Aerith looks up from the bed and at Larissa who is now sitting next to her. The angelic woman has taken to standing off to the side of them.
Larissa reaches out and cradles Aerith’s face. Aerith shudders. She knows this touch. This is Larissa. “See, it’s me,” says Larissa.
Tears begin to pool in her eyes. Aerith practically throws herself at Larissa. This is her scent. This is her body. Doubt leaves her mind, replaced with a great sensation of relief. She is hugging the friend she loves so much. “It is you,” said Aerith. “It really is you.” She leans up to look at Larissa fully. “How are you here?” she asks, wiping away her tears. “I thought you were…”
“What you saw was me being reborn. The Mistress has given me a new life,” Larissa tells her.
“Mistress? New life?” Aerith is utterly lost.
“Larissa, perhaps it’d be best if you show her,” the woman, referred to by Larissa as Mistress, suggests.
Larissa replies with a nod. Looking at Aerith, a pair of dark wings sprout from her back, which surprises her friend. “Don’t be frightened. Mistress Ezibel has given me a new life. Life as a Dream Weaver,” she says.
“You mean…a succubus?” Aerith says. She has heard stories about the succubi, how they can invade the dreams of ordinary people and manipulate them, hence why they are often referred to as Dream Weavers. They are creatures of seduction, alluring men and women alike. They are even known to drain the life energy of others. Aerith turns to Ezibel who is also sporting black and purple wings. Fear slowly began to creep back in. This woman, this creature of darkness has turned her friend into a demon.
“There is no need to be afraid,” Larissa says. Aerith looks to her. Larissa sees the fear building in her eyes. She caresses her cheek but Aerith pulls away. “Aerith, it’s still me. I know you’re concerned but I am still myself. Mistress Ezibel offered me a new life and I readily accepted.”
“You wanted…this?” said Aerith. She now wonders why Larissa would choose this life.
“Yes. Oh Aerith, I love you so much. I want to spend forever with you. You want to be with me, don’t you?”
Aerith does not answer right away. It is true. She does love Larissa. They have grown close together since childhood and that friendship has blossomed into an attraction. She has thought of her and Larissa as lovers more so than friends but never truly mustered the courage to tell her. Seeing the look in her eyes now, Aerith can tell that Larissa has felt the same way. But does she really want to give up her mortality, even if it is for someone she loves dearly. She then thinks about her mother and how she would feel. Could she truly leave her mother behind? Aerith cannot help but feel conflicted, having to choose between the love for her mother and the love of her life.
“Aerith.” She looks at Larissa. Before Aerith can answer her, Larissa kisses her deeply. Placing a hand behind her head, she presses her bosom up against Aerith. Aerith does not resist as she is laid back on the bed. Soon, she returns the kiss, running her fingers through Larissa’s golden mane. Larissa breaks her embrace for a moment. “What do you say now? We can be like this always. As much as you want,” she says, taking Aerith’s right hand and placing on her bosom.
Aerith can feel her heart beat rapidly. Larissa is so warm and soft. She gives a little squeeze. Larissa shudders. Is this for real? Can they truly be together like this? Aerith had always wanted to take their relationship to the next step. That desire had grown so much that she does want to be with Larissa. She wants Larissa, body and soul. She has the opportunity now. It would be foolish of her to past it up. Larissa lays down on Aerith, who shudders with pleasure when she feels Larissa’s bosom press up against hers. She needn’t ponder any longer. “Yes,” she says. “I want us to be together, like this. I want to be with you, Larissa. I want you.”
“Is that your desire? Do you want this girl, your love? Will you join her in immortality?” Ezibel asks her.
“Yes,” Aerith answers, feeling a wave of passion as Larissa kisses her neck. Her body ran hotter with each touch of her lover’s lips. Ezibel watches Aerith become more flushed. She can feel the ecstasy building in her. She waits until the red-haired merchant girl is at her peak.
“Now Larissa, she is yours,” Ezibel said.
Larissa raises up and bares gleaming fangs at Aerith. Unafraid, Aerith turns her head in acceptance. Larissa leans forward with her mouth agape.
