Pokemon X and Y were available to purchase as of this morning at 12:00AM. On that note, if you haven’t seen the Pokemon Origins four-episode series, we recommend you take some time to watch it. Each episode is 22 minutes in length.
The story is not about Ash, but Red, the main protagonist in the original Pokemon Red and Green games released in Japan for gameboy in 1996. Red and Blue versions were the american equivalent.
This four part series brings back all the nostalgia of the original games, breaking the fourth wall by opening the pokemon red and blue save screen before the start of each episode. The story also concludes in a very interesting and unexpected way that makes a perfect transition into the newest games in the series, Pokemon X and Y.
Overall: Such a good story. Already seen it? Let us know what you thought!
