As if there was any doubt, Paramount Pictures confirms the sequel to 2020’s Sonic the Hedgehog movie. The 10 second announcement trailer confirms the title and date set for April 8, 2022.
A second film based on the popular video game series that helped launch the Sega Genesis in 1990 was teased when Sonic’s friend Miles “Tails” Prower appears in a mid credit clip, having arrived on Earth while searching for Sonic.
