Sony release list of PS4 games not playable on next-gen console!!

And it’s smaller than you expected.

Hey there, Gamers and Gamettes! DevilDriver1313 here and let’s get “On the NXT LVL!”

There was concern in regards to Sony’s next gen console, the PS5, not being able to play some PS4 game, which may have some of second guessing on whether to purchase the system for the long holiday season. If you are among those who are undecided, then perhaps the list of non-playable PS4 games on the PS5 will help cope your mind. And the list is a lot smaller than one would expect.

The list of PS4 game is as follows:

  • DWVR
  • Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
  • TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2
  • Just Deal With It!
  • Shadow Complex Remastered
  • Robinson: The Journey
  • We Sing
  • Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
  • Shadwen
  • Joe’s Diner

Yeah, that’s pretty much it. A dozen games, not a big name title among them. Even greater news, more than 4,000 PS4 titles will be able to play on the PS5. However, Sony did report on their support page that “some functionalities available on the PS4 will not be available on the PS5” and that “some title may experience unexpected behavior when played on the PS5.” Hopefully this is an issue that does get resolved.

For those of you looking to transfer your PS4 title digitally, there two ways to go about it – WiFi data is one or extended storage such as an external hard drive. if you really want the full details on the PlayStation 5’s backwards capabilities, click here to go to the Sony Support page.
